The Acoustic Energy AE Sub is a compact, high-performance active subwoofer designed to enhance both hi-fi systems and home-cinema setups. Engineered to partner perfectly with the AE 100 and 300 Series, it delivers deep, controlled bass that integrates seamlessly with your main speakers.

At the heart of the AE Sub is a 250 W (RMS) Class-D amplifier driving a 12" high-excursion doped and stiffened pulp-fibre driver. This combination extends low-frequency response down to 26 Hz (±6 dB), providing impactful, musical bass without overwhelming your room.

The sealed, downward-firing design gives you powerful low-end performance with clean, fast transient response — ideal for both movies and music. With adjustable crossover, phase, and level controls plus flexible input options (LFE, low-level, and high-level), setup is easy and adaptable to a wide range of systems.

Finished in Matte Black or Matte White, the AE Sub includes carpet-piercing spikes and rubber caps for hard floors, making it suitable for virtually any modern living space.
