Who we are
Audionation is the exclusive Canadian importer and distributor for Exposure Electronics, Ruark Audio, Guru Loudspeakers, Soulnote, Unison Research, Ophidian Audio and Unitra. Canadian owned and operated since 2011.
Exclusive matters more than it sounds. It means every unit our dealers sell arrives through the manufacturer's official channel — no parallel imports, no grey-market boxes carrying a warranty that stopped at the border.
How we choose a brand
Our lines come from England, Italy, Poland, Sweden and Japan, but we're not collecting flags. Country of origin tells you nothing about how something sounds. We look for three things:
Design that means something
Equipment built with intent — where the cabinet, the casework and the controls are answers to engineering problems, not styling exercises. It should look right in a room you actually live in.
Value you can hear
Not cheap. Honestly priced for what it does. Our brands outperform gear costing considerably more, because their makers spend on what matters and skip what doesn't.
Musicality over specification
Plenty of equipment measures beautifully and leaves you cold. We choose brands whose designers tune by ear as well as by instrument — gear you listen through, not to.
If a line doesn't clear all three, we pass. That's why we carry true hi-fi brands and not a catalogue.

Warranty and service, in Canada
Everything we import is serviced in Canada. If something goes wrong, you deal with us — not a support queue eight time zones away. Warranty terms vary by brand.
