Warranty & Product Policy

Our brands are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. If something goes wrong, we've got you covered.

Standard Warranty

Warranty coverage applies to products purchased by Canadian residents from an authorized Canadian retailer, or US residents from an authorized US retailer. Proof of purchase is required. Products sold by unauthorized dealers or from marketplace listings are not covered. Check our authorized retailers page if you are unsure.

Coverage periods by brand:

5 years — Neat Acoustics, Opera, Acoustic Energy, Ophidian, Rogers passive loudspeakers
3 years — Exposure, Unison Research
2 years — Ruark Audio, Soulnote, Acoustic Energy active speakers

Covers the cost of replacement parts and labour for defects in materials and workmanship at the time of purchase. Limited to repair or replacement at our discretion; neither option affects, alters, or extends your original warranty. Valid for the original owner only and is non-transferable. This warranty supersedes all others offered by any third party, implied or in writing.

What's Not Covered

Deterioration of parts worn or depleted through normal use
Interoperability issues with third-party products, including routers or apps
Damage caused by incorrect installation, connection, use of adapters, or unpacking
Products that have been opened, or where repairs or modifications have been made by an unauthorized person
Return transportation to the service depot or any associated shipping costs

Discontinued Model Policy

When a product is discontinued, we continue to honour fair warranty coverage. A product is classified as discontinued on the date the manufacturer officially announces end-of-sale status. Remaining inventory may continue to be sold under the terms below.

Before discontinuation: full standard warranty applies from the date of purchase.

90-day grace period: for any purchase made within 90 days of the Discontinuation Date, the full standard warranty still applies. No deduction. Price reflects full warranty value.

After the grace period: for every day that passes after the grace period ends, one day is deducted from the effective warranty period at the time of purchase. We recommend dealers and end customers negotiate the price proportionally, commensurate with the remaining warranty period.

Effective warranty days (3-year warranty) = 1,095 − (days since grace period ended)

Example: product discontinued January 1. Customer purchases 150 days later (60 days after grace period ends). Effective warranty = 1,095 − 60 = 1,035 days from date of purchase.
