The stand the Guru 8 was voiced on.
The Guru 8 is a small speaker that behaves like a large one — but only when it sits where its engineers intended: at the right height, a few centimetres off the wall, on a platform that gets out of the way. The Standpoint 8 is that platform. A hand-made tripod of solid oak and anodized aluminium, built from three pieces of timber and a single fixing, it holds the Guru 8 at exactly the geometry Stockholm designed around.
A top plate cut for the Guru 8 — and nothing else.
This is what makes it a Standpoint 8 rather than a generic stand: the aluminium top plate is machined to the Guru 8's own 182 × 238 mm footprint, so the speaker sits flush and centred and couples to its isolating feet instead of balancing on an oversized slab. Vibration stays out of the floor; bass stays out of the mud.
Tripod stability, no spikes.
Three points can't rock, so the Standpoint sits dead-level on any floor — no spikes to thread, no metal points to bury in your hardwood. Its compact footprint tucks against the wall, exactly where the Guru 8 is designed to live.
Stockholm minimalism, made by hand.
Solid oak — not veneer — shaped and finished by hand, joined by cleanly machined aluminium. In a room it reads as Scandinavian furniture first and hi-fi second, in natural Oak or a deep Dark Grey Oak. Sold as a pair, with hardware; a few minutes to assemble.
