I have been looking for a new pair of speakers for about two years now and while speaking with Jeff, regarding another audio matter, the topic of the AE Coriniums came up. I asked him if they sounded anything like they were described on paper and as the moments followed, I ended up buying them. They were actually one of my top three choices, but the conversation confirmed my decision. They will take some time to optimize but straight out of the box I got the general gist of what to expect and believe me, when I say, I am enjoying the evolution of this sound experience! Ruark R2 MK4 has lived up to my expectations. It was intuitive to set up, looks and sounds great. It is also much more versatile than the BOSE Soindtouch that it replaces.

When Bose announced that they were discontinuing their support for streaming servics early in 2026 I began looking for a device to replace my Bose Soundtouch which for me will basically become a door stop. I found the Roark R2 MK4 online and ordered it. It was easy to set up. It is intuitively easy to operate, much more versatile than the Bose SoundTouch was and looks and sounds great.
Easy set up out of the box and great sound. This was exactly what we were looking for to: 1) listen to FM radio with the touch of a button like days of yore; and 2) connect via Bluetooth / stream Spotify and internet radio. In an ideal world, the preset buttons on the remote would let you move between audio sources automatically, but that's a small annoyance on an overall great system.

I was going to buy the AE 300’s, but after some further thought, decided to go within the AE100 mk II’s… good call! Although I’ve only had them for a few days and I’m still burning them in, they sound incredible! These little speakers are really very good, with excellent coherence, superb imaging and sound staging, and are well balanced. The cabinets are about as inert as could be, and the overall look and feel is one of style, quality and smart engineering. While the bass is tight, textured, and informative, I will use them with a REL sub. But in a smaller room I think you could do without. I’ve owned (and currently own) many quality small monitor type speakers, and these are amongst the best, just a joy to listen to. And for the price… a steal! I’ll add that the service I had while considering this purchase was also top notch, so based on that attention and the superb product, I hope to deal with you guys again. Highly recommended from this veteran listener!!

Easy install. Nice Aesthetic. Perfect for my heavy Charisma Audio MC-1 alpha cartridge. I had my stock Rega weight riding the very end of the tonearm which left things fairly volatile. Things are tighter more balanced and most importantly quieter.
