Acoustic Energy AE100² Bookshelf Speakers

Acoustic Energy AE100² new bookshelf speakers achieve high sound pressure levels from a small enclosure. Sound is obtained principally through a larger mid-bass drive unit than the previous model, built around an ultra-high force, long-throw motor system.

Bass performance is enhanced by a new molded rear port, increasing airflow while negating the issues of air turbulence.  Rock-solid HDF cabinets are a significant improvement over "folded and glued" MDF-type cabinets in this price range with no visible screws for a more luxurious look and better performance.

A 25mm soft dome tweeter featuring our Wide Dispersion Technology completes the driver compliment housed within a 15mm HDF cabinet. Taking design cues from the award-winning Reference Series and finished in a choice of satin black or walnut vinyl veneer finishes, the AE100² is sure to look good wherever you choose to place it while delivering a sound that belies its compact size.
