Separates
Exposure has been splitting pre from power since the Roman numerals.

Distortion, Noise, Draw
What a line stage is for.
Measured at 1 kHz, referenced to rated output. Six times lower than the same tier's integrated amplifier, which is what taking the power stage out of the box buys you.
A-weighted, and the floor a preamplifier has to hold if the amplifier behind it is to have anything clean to work with.
A line-level box has no business drawing more. Discrete Class A output buffers, and a custom-wound toroidal transformer with hum shielding.

About the Exposure 3510 Preamplifier
Reference Thinking, Real-World Price: Exposure 3510 Preamplifier
The Exposure 3510 Preamplifier is a high-end British preamp inspired by the award-winning 5010 reference design β and built to punch well above its price. A new gain stage with high-quality relays and an oversized toroidal power supply deliver clarity and quiet that belong to far dearer components. Hi-Fi News gave the 3510 pre/power its "Outstanding" badge, noting a design in which "simplicity has been elevated almost to an art form."
Discrete, Quiet, and Beautifully Simple
Inside, discrete transistors in the line stage and an optimised PCB layout keep crosstalk low, while a carefully designed hybrid power supply achieves very low residual noise. The result is a preamplifier that gets out of the music's way. Controls are refreshingly minimal β no cluttered menus, just clean, intuitive operation and a newly designed remote that switches inputs, mutes, and controls volume from your chair.
Configure It Your Way
Plenty of inputs are provided, with slot-in options for onboard MM phono, MC phono, or a high-resolution DAC β so you build exactly the preamp your system needs and nothing you don't. The aluminium front plate and chassis aid cooling and keep noise at bay, in black or titanium.
Why You'll Love the Exposure 3510 Preamplifier
- 5010-reference inspired β flagship design thinking at a fraction of the price
- New relay-switched gain stage β clean, precise, channel-matched control
- Oversized toroidal PSU β quiet, stable power for a black background
- Modular options β add MM phono, MC phono, or a hi-res DAC board
- Discrete line stage β optimised layout for low crosstalk and noise
- "Outstanding" β Hi-Fi News β remote included, black or titanium
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add a phono stage or DAC to the 3510 preamplifier?
Yes. The 3510 preamp accepts slot-in option boards for moving-magnet phono, moving-coil phono, or a high-resolution DAC, so you can tailor it to your sources.
What power amplifier should I pair it with?
The Exposure 3510 stereo power amplifier or 3510 mono power amplifiers are the natural partners, forming the "Outstanding"-rated 3510 pre/power system.
Does it come with a remote control?
Yes β a newly designed remote lets you switch inputs, mute, and adjust volume from your listening position.
